Safety Precautions and Recommendations
Hazards and Warnings:
- Combustible liquid.
- Harmful if swallowed or in contact with skin.
- Toxic if inhaled.
- Causes skin irritation.
- Causes serious eye damage.
- May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
- Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
Precautionary Measures:
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources.
- Wear protective gloves, clothing, eye protection, and face protection.
- Avoid release into the environment.
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using this product.
First Aid:
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
- Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of water. Seek medical help if irritation occurs.
- Eye Contact: Rinse with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Seek medical help.
- Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek emergency medical help immediately.
Handling and Storage:
- Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
- Store locked up in a cool, dry place away from food, feeds, and drinking water.
- Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals.
- Do not reuse empty containers. Dispose of them properly.
Environmental Protection:
- Avoid spray drift onto other crops, grazing areas, rivers, dams, and non-target areas.
- Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water, and eating utensils.
Re-entry Interval:
- Do not enter treated areas within 1 day after treatment unless wearing protective clothing.
Aerial Application:
- Notify inhabitants in the vicinity before spraying.
- Ensure even distribution of the spray mixture and minimize loss during application.
Resistance Management:
- Lambda-cyhalothrin is a group code 3A insecticide. Rotate with insecticides from different group codes to prevent resistance.
- Apply a maximum of two pyrethroid treatments per growing season.
Use Restrictions:
- Do not treat stressed plants or plants wet from dew or rain.
- Apply only to actively growing plants.
- Avoid application in extremely dry conditions or to wet plants.
